Synergy Multi-Academy Trust comprises ten Norfolk schools serving children between the ages of 2 and 18. Our schools work collaboratively together to raise standards and provide education of the highest possible standard, offering the best of opportunities for pupils. The Trust was initially established in 2015. We believe that all of our schools have strengths and areas to develop, and that all can improve through sharing expertise and wisdom. The Trust understands that there will be excellent practice in each school, and that every school will be able to contribute to the development of the Trust as a whole.
Welcome from the Headteacher
Welcome to the Mattishall Primary School.
I joined the school as Headteacher of Mattishall Primary School in September 2010. During time I have made some challenging changes but these have certainly been counterbalanced by the many positive experiences and highlights.
During the last couple of years we have been on a bit of a journey as a school. We became an Academy and part of Synergy MAT on 1st April 2017 and since this time we have gone from strength to strength. Working together within this formalised structure has brought our school community many positive benefits and given us the opportunity to work with similar minded schools.
I am very proud of the children and staff; we have a very friendly and caring atmosphere and visitors often comment about this. We provide a calm and creative environment for learning in which individuals feel safe and secure. We provide a stimulating curriculum and encourage young brains to grow through experimental learning, enriched by outdoor experiences, visits and competitive opportunities.
We value contributions made by parents and volunteers and ensure that we listen to what they feedback. We have a very effective and dedicated LGB (Local Governing Board) and a very successful fundraising team. We attempt to include all stakeholders in important decision making, including the interviewing and appointment of new staff.
I hope that you find our website useful and we will endeavour to keep it updated with relevant information throughout the year
