Asian Fusion Workshop

The Year 2 children invited family members to join them at an Asian Fusion Workshop. This was facilitated by our school catering company, Aspens. The children and adults learnt how to create and roll sushi. One child won a prize for the best rolled sushi. The children and adults also had the opportunity to try some stir fry.

Some feedback from parents/carers who attended

It was so nice to see the children make and try new foods they wouldn’t normally try! It was good for them also to see how sushi is made and what is needed. They all really enjoyed it and I did too! It was so nice at the end to choose a winner too, as the child was so happy to get his apron! Mrs B

I enjoyed the Asian cooking experience today. It was presented well with good ingredients to use for the Sushi making. It was nice to spend time doing this with my son who was enthusiastic and happy to be doing this activity. Mr M
