I joined Mattishall Primary School as Headteacher in September 2010, having previously worked in Nottingham and Derbyshire. During my time as Headteacher I have seen some significant changes and encountered many challenges, more recently being the effects of the Pandemic. However, these have certainly been counterbalanced by the many positive experiences and highlights, working within a wonderful community.

29th June to 1st July we had our very own art exhibition - Wonders of the Natural World. Each child created their own piece of art based on an inspirational artist.
On Friday 8th May the Reception children visited Gressenhall Farm and Museum to take part in a Once Upon a Time event. The curator invited the children to an exhibition of fairy tale objects.
Year 5 children were excited to welcome their families to our Art Workshop, as we began our new topic: Mixed Media.
On 11th March our Year 6 children and staff attended a fantastic event at The Breckland Crucial Crew safety education event.
