“Working Together, Learning Together, Achieving Together”
and as a Multi-Academy Trust we are “Stronger Together”
I joined Mattishall Primary School as Headteacher in September 2010, having previously worked in Nottingham and Derbyshire. During my time as Headteacher I have seen some significant changes and encountered many challenges, more recently being the effects of the Pandemic. However, these have certainly been counterbalanced by the many positive experiences and highlights, working within a wonderful community.

Our Reception, Year 1 and 2 children worked really hard to put on a great performance of 'Shine, Star, Shine'.

All classes took part in DT Day, where they create a project from research to evaluation. Their projects were Christmas themed and children worked hard to create a range of items, including tree decorations, snow globes and gingerbread men! These items were then sold as part of our whole school fundraising.

Our annual needs assessment for Life Skills continues to tell us that Road safety is of high importance for our school. The local Public Health profile for our community has it as a high risk and our most recent consultation with our stakeholders also stated how important it is.

Our school participated in the annual Anti-Bullying Week this week. The theme this year was A POWER FOR GOOD.
