“Working Together, Learning Together, Achieving Together”
and as a Multi-Academy Trust we are “Stronger Together”
I joined Mattishall Primary School as Headteacher in September 2010, having previously worked in Nottingham and Derbyshire. During my time as Headteacher I have seen some significant changes and encountered many challenges, more recently being the effects of the Pandemic. However, these have certainly been counterbalanced by the many positive experiences and highlights, working within a wonderful community.

On Wednesday 18th March the children in Reception and Years 1 & 2 were excited to receive a visit from a successful author! David spent time talking to the children about what it was like to be an author and the children had the opportunity to ask questions about his work.

Curiosity: what’s your question? Each class focused on a question and explored and investigated the answers.

Years 3-6 were excited to receive a visit from a famous and successful writer! Author of the Scrap, Stitch Head and the Hugh Dunnit series.

On World Book Day we hosted a book quiz for families. Here are the winners who won some book vouchers. Congratulations!
