“Working Together, Learning Together, Achieving Together”
and as a Multi-Academy Trust we are “Stronger Together”
I joined Mattishall Primary School as Headteacher in September 2010, having previously worked in Nottingham and Derbyshire. During my time as Headteacher I have seen some significant changes and encountered many challenges, more recently being the effects of the Pandemic. However, these have certainly been counterbalanced by the many positive experiences and highlights, working within a wonderful community.

Year 1 and 2 hosted a maths workshop for parents and carers. This was a practical session to give parents and carers an opportunity to see how we teach maths and what the expectations were. It also gave them an idea of how they could support at home.

Year 3 had a brilliant trip to Gressenhall, focussing on the Neolithic period of The Stone Age.

Year 1 and 2 travelled back in time when they visited Gressenhall Museum to take part in a 1950s day.

Our new Reception children have settled in really well. They have been exploring the school environment and making new friends.
