    Bug Handling

The Year 2 and Reception children were really lucky to have a FREE 'Bug Handling' workshop. The children had opportunities to handle a variety of 'bugs' and observe others. This was a great first-hand experience for the children and many children overcame their fear and with support and encouragement, handled them with care and respect. Some of the invertebrates that we saw or handled were a Vinegaroon, Madagascan hissing cockroach, giant millipede, giant centipede, giant stick insects, giant African land snails, huntsman spider, tarantula and various beetles and their larvae.

One parent shared, "Thank you for arranging the bugs yesterday, Albert loved it and it’s all I’ve heard about since getting home!".

      Our Schools

Synergy Multi-Academy Trust comprises fifteen Norfolk schools serving children between the ages of 2 and 18. Our schools work collaboratively together to raise standards and provide education of the highest possible standard, offering the best of opportunities for pupils. The Trust was initially established in 2015. We believe that all of our schools have strengths and areas to develop, and that all can improve through sharing expertise and wisdom. The Trust understands that there will be excellent practice in each school, and that every school will be able to contribute to the development of the Trust as a whole.
