Year 3 Neolithic Trip

On Wednesday 15th October Year 3 had a brilliant trip to Gressenhall, focussing on the Neolithic period of The Stone Age.

They took part in a range of activities, learning about what life was like for people during the Neolithic period. They used various tools to see what farming was like and learnt about how people used animals for different purposes. They practised making their own shelters and had a go at knapping with a piece of flint. They finished the day, practising some hunting skills and using pretend spears.
