The children in Reception class have been exploring the topic ‘Long Ago’. The children were invited to explore some antiques brought in by staff. They had an opportunity to look at many different objects including records, jewellery, vases, top of the pop annuals, toys and cameras. The children took this investigation in their stride and talked about the objects in detail, as well as this the children asked many questions about the objects and were fascinated by how they were used long ago.
