    Solar for Schools

    On Tuesday 17th June

Andy from Solar for Schools came in to school today to do his annual inspection of our solar panels. He spent some time with our Eco Ambassador Leaders Milly and Everly looking at our online data and then they got to explore a model solar panel and power a fan and an alarm. We're hoping that Milly and Everly will be able to give regular reports in assembly on how well we are doing. As Eco Ambassadors they are responsible for organising their team of ambassadors to do certain roles in school which includes, watering plants, switching lights off, litter picking etc.

Andy was super impressed with both Milly and Everly's enthusiasm and knowledge. Following working with our Eco Ambassadors, Andy did a whole school assembly and a workshop with Year 3. The children learnt about how solar panels help our school create electricity. The children learnt about what we use that needs electricity. They worked n groups to watch the effect of the sun on solar panels and saw how they produce energy.

      Our Schools

Synergy Multi-Academy Trust comprises fifteen Norfolk schools serving children between the ages of 2 and 18. Our schools work collaboratively together to raise standards and provide education of the highest possible standard, offering the best of opportunities for pupils. The Trust was initially established in 2015. We believe that all of our schools have strengths and areas to develop, and that all can improve through sharing expertise and wisdom. The Trust understands that there will be excellent practice in each school, and that every school will be able to contribute to the development of the Trust as a whole.
