    Year 3 visit Gressenhall Museum

On 22nd October our Year 3 children went to Gressenhall Museum to learn about Neolithic Britain. They took part in four different activities throughout the day. The first activity was about hunting. The children explored different types of weapons that they would have used to hunt for food. They then had a go at hunting themselves. The second activity was looking at different artefacts from the Neolithic period and exploring what they were like and what they were used for. The children then used flint scarpers themselves to see how effective they were. The third activity was thinking about things that animals provide, the children then worked in small groups to build shelters. The last activity was about farming, the children used various tools to help prepare the soil. They also had a go at grinding grain with saddle querns.

      Our Schools

Synergy Multi-Academy Trust comprises fifteen Norfolk schools serving children between the ages of 2 and 18. Our schools work collaboratively together to raise standards and provide education of the highest possible standard, offering the best of opportunities for pupils. The Trust was initially established in 2015. We believe that all of our schools have strengths and areas to develop, and that all can improve through sharing expertise and wisdom. The Trust understands that there will be excellent practice in each school, and that every school will be able to contribute to the development of the Trust as a whole.
