“Working Together, Learning Together, Achieving Together”
and as a Multi-Academy Trust we are “Stronger Together”
I joined Mattishall Primary School as Headteacher in September 2010, having previously worked in Nottingham and Derbyshire. During my time as Headteacher I have seen some significant changes and encountered many challenges, more recently being the effects of the Pandemic. However, these have certainly been counterbalanced by the many positive experiences and highlights, working within a wonderful community.

Year 3 had a brilliant trip to Gressenhall, focussing on the Neolithic period of The Stone Age.

Year 1 and 2 travelled back in time when they visited Gressenhall Museum to take part in a 1950s day.

Our new Reception children have settled in really well. They have been exploring the school environment and making new friends.

On Tuesday 8th July the Year 3 class had a Roman Day linked to their history unit ‘Emperors and Empires’. They came dressed as Romans and made mosaics, shields and clay pots. They also learnt a song about the Romans and had a brilliant day!
