Author Visit - David Bedford
On Wednesday 18th March the children in Reception and Years 1 & 2 were excited to receive a visit from a successful author! David spent time talking to the children about what it was like to be an author and the children had the opportunity to ask questions about his work.

On Thursday March 5th we celebrated World Book Day. The children were invited to come into school dressed up as their favourite book character.

Year 4 West Stow visit
On Monday 19th January our Year 4 children went to West Stow where the children got to explore the Anglo-Saxon village and the Anglo-Saxon museum. They had the opportunity to handle some artefacts and learnt about how they were discovered. They also got to dress up as Anglo-Saxons.

Year 5 National Space Centre
On Friday 16th January our Year 5 children visited the National Space Centre in Leicester. The children spent time looking at the variety of exhibitions on offer. They had a long but great day.

Fire engine visit
The Reception children had a visit from Dereham Fire Station. The firefighters spent time talking about their job and the equipment they use. The children also had an opportunity to explore a fire engine and use the hose!
