    Year 2's Funky 5k.

    Each class raises money, annually to buy new books for class libraries in school. Year 2 decided to have a Funky 5k. We are super proud of Year2 as not only did they all run/walk 25 laps of the side field they showed many personal qualities. Read more

    Solar for Schools

    Andy from Solar for Schools came in to school today to do his annual inspection of our solar panels. He spent some time with our Eco Ambassador Leaders Milly and Everly looking at our online data and then they got to explore a model solar panel and power a fan and an alarm. We're hoping that Milly and Everly will be able to give regular reports in assembly on how well we are doing. Read more

    Compass for Life Foundation

    We were very fortunate to have an inspirational visitor on Thursday: Floyd Woodrow from the Compass for Life Foundation joined Years 5 and 6 for an all-day workshop which aimed to provide them with the tools to articulate their dreams. Read more

    Roman Conquest: Iceni Revolt trip

    In Year 3 our history unit is ‘Emperors and Empires’, focussing on the Romans. As part of our history learning, we went on a Roman Conquest: Iceni Revolt trip to The Time and Tide Museum. During the day, we experienced what is was like to be a Roman soldier. Read more

    Year 1 Homes Long Ago

    On 16th May the Year 1s went back in time and found out what it was like to live in Victorian times. This was part of a 'Homes Long Ago' event at Gressenhall Museum. They made drop scones, helped clean the house, played with toys and spent time in the classroom. The children looked great in their outfits. Read more

    Asian Fusion Workshop

    The Year 2 children invited family members to join them at an Asian Fusion Workshop. This was facilitated by our school catering company, Aspens. The children and adults learnt how to create and roll sushi. One child won a prize for the best rolled sushi. The children and adults also had the opportunity to try some stir fry. Read more

    Bug Handling

    The Year 2 and Reception children were really lucky to have a FREE 'Bug Handling' workshop. The children had opportunities to handle a variety of 'bugs' and observe others. Read more

    Year 2 make Eton Mess

    In the Design and Technolgy project 'Remarkable Recipes' the Year 2 children had to follow a recipe to make Eton Mess. The children really enjoyed making this dessert and even more so eating it. There were lots of empty bowls after the tasting session! Read more

    World Book Day 2025

    On Thursday 6th March we celebrated World Book Day. The children were invited to come dressed as their favourite book character. The children spent the day sharing their favourite books and their favourite book characters. Read more

    The Breckland Crucial Crew Safety Education Event

    Year 6 attended a fantastic event at The Breckland Crucial Crew safety education event. Organisations and services represented included: Norfolk Constabulary, Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service, St John’s Ambulance, HM Coastguard and The RNLI. Read more

    Olly Day Road Safety

    Year 3 and Year 4 had a visit from Olly Day’s Road Safety Magic Show. The children learnt lots of useful information about road safety, whilst having fun and watching magic tricks. Read more

    Bikeability

    Our Year 4 and 5 children participated in some Bikeability cycle training with Pedal Power. The children learnt some essential road safety skills as well as learning how to give their bikes a health check. Read more
